Hyaluronic acid in its very nature attracts water, which can sometimes lead to some degree of water retention in the treated area.<\/p><p>To avoid this, we slightly under-inject the amount of fillers, especially in the nose bridge. Should it occur, we advise patients to moderate their salt intake and give it at least 2 more weeks to allow excess water to drain, before returning for a review.
