Depending on your skin condition, you can improvements in the first treatment. For first-timers a recommended course of treatment for Skinboosters is an initial start-up treatment, three sessions each spaced 2-4 weeks apart. For sustained results, one treatment is recommended every six months to maintain the levels of hyaluronic acid.
After assessing your needs, the doctor can perform the treatment in approximately half an hour or so, subject to the doctor’s schedule. Otherwise, a later appointment can be made for the procedure itself.
Upon completion of the recommended course, results can improve over a period of time and can be maintained with six-monthly treatments. Results vary by the individual and lifestyle choices.
Numbing cream is applied prior to treatment. Pain is minimised as much as possible during the treatment, though some patients experience slight discomfort. Post-procedure, there may be some temporary pain. This will vary by the individual.

Skinboosters are safe for most healthy adults. As with all medical procedures, you should be sure to disclose all of your medical history and current habits such as smoking and use of blood-thinners, medications, birth control pills, or supplements.
Skinboosters may be unsuitable in the following circumstances:
Pre-care: Ensure that you’re in a good state of health and not recovering from a bacterial or viral infection. Please avoid alcohol, NSAIDS (such as aspirin and Synflex), and blood thinners (including Vitamin E, garlic and ginseng supplements) for 2 days before and after treatment
Post-care: The treatment area(s) should be kept clean to avoid infection. Do not pick at or peel skin. Avoid prolonged exposure of the treatment area to sunlight. Avoid swimming, strenuous exercise and going to a sauna for a day. Makeup should only be put on at least a day after treatment.
Skinboosters isn’t the only treatment for skin rejuvenation, although it can provide a good degree of hydration than most.
