Small white patches or bumps, known as “collagen balls,” may appear in the treated area often around the eyes or jowls, especially for RF devices like Agnes RF. They can be mistaken for pimples or milia. These bumps may not be aesthetically pleasing but they are a good sign of skin rejuvenation. They are temporary and typically dissipate within a few days. Massaging the area frequently throughout the day can help speed up their resolution.
While you may notice improvements from one session, for most people, two to three sessions may reap more optimum results. For active acne, additional treatments may be needed six weeks to six months after the initial session. Results vary between individuals.
