The Guided Aesthetic Journey is our end-to-end programme for international patients. It begins before you book your flight –with a pre-visit consultation to understand your goals– and continues after you return home, with dedicated aftercare support and remote follow-up from your doctor.
01
Connect with your preferred doctor before travelling. Share your concerns and aesthetic goals clearly to get a suitable treatment recommendation.
02
Our concierge manages appointment scheduling and assists with the administrative paperwork on your behalf. You can also let us know what medications or skincare products you’re currently using, so we can plan your visit accordingly.
03
Assistance with hotel recommendations and transport to and from the clinic, timed around your itinerary.
04
Receive post-treatment guidance and follow-up support even after you return home, ensuring continuity of care.
Singapore is home to globally accredited healthcare providers, with more than almost any other country in the region, offering recognised standards for healthcare quality and patient safety.
All injectables and devices must be reviewed by The Ministry of Health (MOH) and Health Sciences Authority (HSA) in Singapore, ensuring treatments are backed by clinical evidence and appropriate medical oversight.
Aesthetic doctors are minimally required to hold a Certificate of Competence (COC) issued by the Singapore Medical Council’s Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee (APOC).
Singapore Changi Airport connects to over 100 countries. Most Southeast Asian cities are within a two to four hour flight, making a treatment visit practical for international visitors.
Unlike many regional destinations where aesthetic standards can vary between providers, Singapore maintains a consistently regulated healthcare system across all licensed aesthetic clinics.
Many international patients, including those from Indonesia and China, choose Singapore for certainty, safety and peace of mind.

Founded by Dr Kelvin Chua, SL Aesthetic Clinic began at Wheelock Place over 20 years ago and has grown to 10 clinic locations with 12 doctors.
Our doctors develop and test treatments in-house, including original protocols not available elsewhere like the 6D® Laser Facelift and Glass Skin Customised Skinbooster.
All doctors hold certifications from the Singapore Medical Council’s APOC, Aesthetic Dermatology Educational Group (ADEG), National Skin Centre (NSC), and American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM).
Products and devices are sourced through authorised distributors and approved by the regulatory board. We do not use grey-market or repackaged products.
All recommendations are made on clinical grounds and consultation fees are communicated upfront based on the targeted area and skin condition.
Our doctors develop customised treatment plans designed to treat persistent redness and sensitivity while addressing underlying triggers such as rosacea, inflammation, and vascular redness.
Recognised by aesthetic and pharmaceutical brands for clinical standards and treatment volume, including Diamond Awards from Allergan, Merz, and Ultherapy.
For non-invasive treatments, most patients can fly home within one to two days without clinical concern. Your doctor will advise you on any specific restrictions for your treatment, and if your treatment requires a longer recovery period, your concierge can help you plan your stay to allow adequate time before travel.
Your concierge provides a direct post-visit contact for aftercare questions after you return home. If you notice something unexpected, contact your concierge, and your doctor will advise on the next steps remotely. Where a follow-up in-person review is clinically necessary, your doctor will let you know.
We understand that some patients may feel unhappy with filler results done elsewhere, whether local or overseas, especially if they appear unnatural or uneven. Where clinically appropriate, our doctors can use hyaluronidase to dissolve existing hyaluronic acid fillers and carefully assess the treated areas. From there, we create a revised treatment plan tailored to your skin condition and aesthetic goals. Find out more about dermal filler removal.
One key difference lies in Singapore’s defined regulatory framework governing both the treatments used and the professionals who perform them. Singapore’s MOH and the HSA require all aesthetic procedures to be performed by licensed medical doctors who hold a specific Certificate of Competence (COC) from the Singapore Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee (APOC) for each procedure category. They also regulate the products and devices that clinics can use, ensuring that all injectables and equipment are approved before being administered to patients. Other countries may not enforce these regulations as consistently and standards around practitioner qualifications can vary depending on where you seek treatment.
Most nationalities can enter Singapore visa-free for short stays. Citizens of most ASEAN countries, the UK, US, Australia, and some European nations do not require a visa for stays under 30 – 90 days, depending on nationality. You can also check the entry requirements for your specific passport at the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) website before travelling.
