How does Fotona® 6D Laser Facelift remove saggy skin?
1. SmoothLiftin™
The SmoothLiftin™ mode delivers “bulk heating” to stimulate collagen contraction and production from inside the oral cavity to produce intra-oral tightening. There is no ablation and one will only feel minimal discomfort during the procedure.
The purpose of this mode is to lift and tighten skin at the nasolabial folds, midface region, chin, cheeks, and mouth. There is also an additional benefit of adding plumpness to the treated areas, similar to the effect produced by a filler treatment.
2. VERSA Long Pulse
This is an additional step that we added to further tighten the mucosal layer, which enhances the results of SmoothLiftin™ considerably.
3. FRAC3®
The FRAC3® penetrates the epidermis and dermis through a micro-short pulse, forming micro injuries in a specific depth of the skin to trigger the skin’s repair mechanism. Collagen remodelling takes place to achieve whitening, rejuvenation and firming outcomes. Skin tissue surrounding treated areas remains unaffected hence one can expect less downtime.
This is a 3 dimensional treatment that improves the appearance of sunspots, skin lesions, flushing, fine lines, pore size, uneven skin tone, and acne scarring
4. PIANO®
PIANO®’s exclusive second-level pulse width heating technology works by heating the skin from the outside, raising the skin temperature to a level optimal for skin tightening and collagen stimulation.
Given that the laser energy is delivered deep into the dermal layers of the skin while sparing the epidermis (outer layer of skin), this laser activates the process of strengthening skin structures resulting in a tightening effect on areas with skin laxity (loose skin).
5. SmoothFirming
A typical 4D laser treatment protocol in Singapore only targets the face and front of the neck. SL Aesthetic Clinic added this step to the original protocol, to expand the treatment area to include the frontal hairline and back of the neck. By tightening the frontal hairline, we can achieve a lifting effect on the eyebrows. We also lift the skin at the back of the neck which helps to improve the appearance of the front of the neck as well.
6. SupErficial™
As its name suggests, the SupErficial™ mode is a gentle laser peel procedure that improves skin surface imperfections for a pearly smooth finish. This step uses VSP (Variable Square Pulse) technology which allows the doctor to control the light peel to a high degree, thereby minimising any thermal side effects.
The laser gently exfoliates and smoothes skin surfaces, improving the appearance of fine lines and removing dead skin cells to produce a healthy glow and naturally smooth skin.
