Spot-Guided CO2 Laser For Moles, Skin Tags, Milia (Oil) Seeds

Mole Removal And Other Unwanted Lumps And Bumps

Laser mole removal works by emitting a wavelength of high energy light, which when focused on a certain skin condition, will create heat and destroy diseased cells or unwanted lumps and bumps such as moles, skin tags, milia seeds etc.

Various kinds of lasers are available that are differentiated by the medium that produces the laser beam. Carbon dioxide CO2 is used in the case of the Spot-Guided Co2 Laser, which we offer at SL Aesthetic Clinic. The laser is used to create series of small and evenly spaced spots to trigger the body’s natural healing response and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin fibers.

After assessing your needs, the doctor can perform the treatment in approximately half an hour or so, subject to the doctor’s schedule. Otherwise, a later appointment can be made for the procedure itself.

Results vary by the individual and lifestyle choices. Some lesions have a tendency to reappear, with varying frequencies and appearances. Some people are also genetically more prone to developing lesions, which may require more frequent treatment.

Numbing cream is applied prior to treatment. Pain is minimal during the treatment, though some patients experience slight discomfort. Post-procedure, there may be some temporary pain as you recover.
