At SL Aesthetic Group, we are committed to empowering individuals to become the best versions of themselves, inside and out. We are driven by the belief that every act of kindness, no matter how small, has the power to create positive change.
As such, we provide opportunities for our employees to engage in a variety of initiatives, whether it’s a simple act like donating blood or utilising their expertise to perform laser procedures for those in need.
True empowerment starts with a support system – we hope we can create a more compassionate world one initiative at a time.
Tattoos can be a form of self-expression or simply a fashion statement. But for many ex-offenders, their tattoos can signify a gang or life they no longer wish to associate with.
SL Aesthetic Group is part of the tattoo removal service by the Singapore Prison Service (SPS), an initiative that offers free tattoo removal for inmates who have gone through SPS’ gang renunciation programme.
This initiative, supported by Alglow Aesthetics Pte Ltd, the distributor for Fotona Lasers, requires our doctors to conduct weekly prison visits. Depending on the size and colour of the tattoo, removal takes anywhere from 5-30 sessions.
By joining this programme, we hope to help ex-offenders remove the visible reminders of their past and provide them with a fresh start and a brighter future.
“Every tattoo we remove represents a step towards a fresh start, a chance for reintegration, and I’m proud to be a part of that process.” – Dr Gabriel Wong, Medical Director, SL Aesthetic Clinic
“Through this campaign, we’re not just removing tattoos; we’re helping individuals rewrite their stories, and that’s a privilege.” – Dr Sue Ho, Senior Executive Doctor, SL Aesthetic Clinic
